Matsushima JASDF Base Storage Shelter

The 356th ETSG Contracting Office is posting this sources sought with the intent of gauging interest in a design-build project at Matsushima JASDF Base in Miyagi prefecture, Japan. The base requirement for the construction projects can be found in the attached Statement of Work (SOW) and drawings. This posting and the site visit mentioned below are simply to gauge interest and the government will not confirm any intent to formally solicit this requirement to the open market until after the conclusion of the sources sought posting. An organized pre-solicitation site visit is scheduled for 5 August 2026 at 0900 hours, Japan Standard Time (JST). The meeting place will be at Woody Golf Square Yamoto, Hachiyaura 94, Yamoto, Higashimatsushima, Miyagi 981-0503 . Any potential offeror who will participate the site visit must send an attendees list to SSgt CAMERON SMITH at cameron.smith.16@us.af.mil and SSgt DANIEL CALLAHAN at daniel.callahan.7@us.af.mil via email by 30 July 26, 0900 hours JST. The following information will be needed- documents with names, copies of driver’s licenses, and vehicle(s) make, model, color and license plate. The Rough Order of Magnitude is as follows: $1,000,000 to $5,000,000 If a formal solicitation is posted, it will be posted with updated SOWs by 12 August 2026. Another site visit will not be held. Please submit all questions to the POCs listed and a response will be provided within 2 business days, and posted onto SAM when applicable.
