SOURCES SOUGHT High Resolution Profiler System ’ Boundary Layer (HRPS?BL) LAP3000 Radar Wind Profiler and RASS NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center, San Diego (FLCSD) is conducting a market survey (MS) to identify interested and capable businesses, stimulate industry awareness and, gain feedback to improve the acquisition environment/process. Firms possessing the capabilities to perform the tasking described in the attached Statement of Requirement (SOR) and information below are encouraged to respond. This is not a solicittion announcement. This notice is for planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. The Government will not reimburse respondents for any costs incurred in preparation of a response to this notice. Any information submitted by respondents to this notice is strictly voluntary. The Government will not award any contract based on the information received from this notice. The government will utilize information received from this notice to assist in acquisition planning and identifying small businesses’ capabilities. The Government reserves the right to consider a set-aside for small businesses or one of the small business socioeconomic contracting programs (e.g., 8(a), HUBZone, service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB), and women-owned small business (WOSB) including economically disadvantaged women-owned small businesses (EDWOSB)) Radar Wind Profiler LAP3000, 915 MHz, Standard Antenna 1. Direct replacement LAP-3000 Profiler, NOAA-licensed technology 2. Operating Frequency: 915 MHz (ISM) 3. RF Power Output: 800 W Peak 4. Power Input: 120VAC (Power < 1.5kW) 5. Lowest Gate Height: no greater than 100 m 6. Minimum range gate resolution: < 50 m 7. Wind Accuracy: no greater than 1 m/s 8. Horizontal Wind Range: -100 to 100 m/s 9. Software: a. Software license is not locked to single computer; i.e. multiple computers can use software at the same time. b. Software is able to post-process and re-average raw FFT spectrum data to recalculate wind data. c. All data processing and display module are included and available, i.e. no software features are locked from the user. d. Includes real-time plotting software to display user-selectable output data. e. Time resolution of 20 min or less. Increase averaging period to improve data quality. 10.
