Amendment A0001 RFI See attached SF-30 for Q&A Q: Could you please confirm whether the MTU 20V4000M93L main engines are connected to the reduction gears through a jack shaft/intermediate shaft, or whether the engines are directly coupled to the reduction gears through the Geislinger coupling? A: They are coupled through a Geislinger coupling. Attached are drawings for your reference. This combined synopsis/solicitation for services is prepared in accordance with the format in subpart 12.6 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This synopsis/solicitation is being advertised as Small Business Set-Aside only. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; no separate written solicitation will be issued.
