This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR12.2 – Solicitation, Evaluation, and Award, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are being requested in response to this combined synopsis/solicitation. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division - Southeast (HCD-Southeast), on behalf of the 6th Medical Group (MDG), MacDill Air Force Base (AFB), Florida, has a requirement for preventive maintenance on the Government-owned designated medical equipment - Two (2) STERIS AMSCO 400S Small Steam Sterilizers and 2 STERIS AMSCO 2532 Single-Chamber Washer/Disinfectors – located at the 6th MDG, Dental Facility, MacDill AFB. Reference the Performance Work Statement (PWS), section 7.1., for a full list of the Government-owned medical equipment. The Contractor shall provide preventive maintenance, to include corrective maintenance (CM), calibration, diagnostics, installation of replacement parts, and other actions taken to return the equipment to original manufacturers specifications following a failure, damage, or other incident that causes the equipment to no longer perform within the original specifications. The contractor must be an Original Equipment Manufacturer’s (OEM) certified service provider. Preventive maintenance and corrective maintenance, to include all periodic planned maintenance and unscheduled repair, on the medical equipment must be in accordance with OEM specifications and in compliance with ISO 9001:2015 standards.
