Brush Grinding Services

The City of Waxahachie, TX invites qualified contractors to submit proposals for the brush grinding service which are typically conducted twice annually. The usual quantity is approximately 25,000 cubic yards per service (26,250 average over the last seven services). The brush will be shredded on-site at the Waxahachie Convenience Station, located at 499 Lion's Park Road, Waxahachie, Texas 75165. The service should encompass both the initial grinding of the brush on-site and the subsequent regrinding of the wood chips remaining on-site from the previous service. Interested contractors must provide comprehensive information addressing the scope of work, as specified in this document. The City intends to award a contract to responsible and responsible contractor that offers the most qualified and cost-effective contractor, based on the evaluation criteria provided in the solicitation.
