The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) intends to negotiate a contract on a single source basis to SRCTec, North Syracuse, NY, for the upgrade of four (4) SR Hawk Receiver/Transmitter Units (RTU) from Spiral 6 to Spiral 7 to be used as spares for CBP`s MVSS–R systems.SRCTec LLC possesses unique technical expertise required to perform the SR Hawk Radar upgrades, including proprietary knowledge of system architecture, software configuration, hardware integration requirements, and calibration procedures.
