Vendor needs to provide community kitchen access and management coordination service to the government authority located in Pontiac, MI. – To develop and manage a coordinated community kitchen access system that expands opportunities for food–based entrepreneurs, caterers, food truck operators, and community food programs.– To address the current lack of accessible, licensed kitchen space by creating a centralized network that connects kitchen operators with users, streamlines access, and supports the growth of Pontiac's local food economy.– To increase access to licensed commercial kitchen facilities for food entrepreneurs, caterers, food truck operators, specialty food producers, nonprofit organizations, culinary workforce programs, and other approved food–related businesses and organizations.– The selected contractor shall establish and administer a centralized kitchen–sharing network that connects kitchen owners with qualified users, streamlines the reservation process, promotes equitable access, and supports the continued growth of Pontiac's local food economy. • Increase access to licensed commercial kitchen facilities throughout the City. • Support the growth and sustainability of local food businesses and entrepreneurs. • Maximize utilization of existing commercial kitchen assets. • Create an efficient, transparent, and equitable kitchen reservation process. • Foster partnerships among public, private, nonprofit, educational, and faith–based organizations. • Reduce barriers for underserved and emerging food businesses. • Develop a sustainable operating model that can continue beyond the initial implementation period. • Kitchen Inventory and Assessment
