Der Unterhalt des N20-Abschnitts «Thielle–Murten» (TE 73) wurde am 1. Januar 2020 vom ASTRA übernommen (NEB-Strecke). Der Abschnitt Ins–Murten ist eine Nationalstrasse 3. Klasse. Er wurde um 1970 in Betrieb genommen. Das ASTRA schreibt Leistungen eines Ingenieurgeometers für die Erfassung und Analyse der Grundlagen, für Vermessungen vor Ort sowie für die Aktualisierung bestehender Vereinbarungen und die Ausarbeitung neuer Vereinbarungen des Projekts Ins–Murten mit privaten Dritten oder öffentlichen Körperschaften aus.
