Vanpool Services Program

The Stanislaus Council of Governments (StanCOG) seeks a qualified Consultant that possesses expertise in implementing and providing continued support for a Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Software platform. The StanCOG TDM program will help address some of the region’s biggest concerns, such as traffic congestion, air quality, livable communities, public health, dependence on fossil fuels, environmental health, greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions, and climate change. TDM seeks to reduce auto trips—and overall vehicle miles travelled—by increasing travel options, providing incentives and information to encourage and help individuals modify their travel behavior, and/or reducing the physical need to travel through transportation-efficient land uses.
