Description
Vendor needs to provide outreach specialist services to the government authority located in Mississippi.– Duties for this position includes, but is not limited to, the following:– Assist as directed by the Education Coordinator with the On the Road program• Coordinate with the Education staff in community education activities, including assisting in the execution of teacher professional development workshops;• Assist with trail and kayak tours of the reserve;• Coordinate with team members from other sectors (Research, Stewardship, Training) to understand program activities and develop education activities, especially related to fisheries and estuary nursery function for fisheries• Promote the agency research priorities and habitat restoration work to local and regional groups to improve community understanding of the land and water conservation work• Work with the Education staff to review and improve activities related to reserve communications, including social media• Assist with other outreach activities, community education events and workshop development, as directed by the Education Coordinator
