GIS-2012 - USA (California) - Hyperion Water Reclamation Plant Utility Mapping and Digitization Service - Deadline September 25,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide Hyperion water reclamation plant utility mapping and digitization service. – Review and reconciliation of existing as–built drawings, field verification of underground and aboveground utilities using appropriate investigative methods such as ground penetrating radar (GPR), potholing; and development of accurate, spatially enabled GIS datasets and BIM utility models in accordance with standards.– The consultant will document all project decisions and activities.– Consultant to review and reconcile existing utility data sources, including as–built drawings, CAD files, and legacy datasets. Identify data gaps, inconsistencies, and priority areas for field verification.– Consultant to perform field surveys and utility verification using appropriate methods for buried pipes and conduits such as GPR and potholing.– Consultant to create 3D BIM models in Revit for key utilities and associated infrastructures. Consultant to work with the City to identify the appropriate Level of Development (LOD) for the model.– Consultant to integrate the utility datasets with agency’s existing GIS and asset management systems, ensuring compatibility with current and future digital platforms and establishing protocols for future utility capture and modifications.– Consultant to prepare user guides, standard operating procedures, and conduct training workshops.– Consultant to provide as needed support for the onboarding and configuration and implementation of the GIS utility map.(2) A mandatory virtual pre–proposal meeting will be held on August 26, 2026.
