General work description: The City of South San Francisco (“City”) is seeking proposals from qualified firms, vendors, or organizations, for office furniture and workstations for a new City-operated Resource Center (“Center”) located at 366 Grand Avenue in South San Francisco. In response to local and regional economic effects from COVID-19, the City and its partners are in the process of opening a new resource center in the City’s downtown that will focus on job training programs and small business support services for local residents, businesses, and entrepreneurs. The Center is planned to open in early 2022 . The space at 366 Grand is being leased by the City for a term of three years and will provide office space, conference rooms, public waiting areas, and space for networking, events, and workshops. Office furniture and workstations should be durable, anticipated for use in high traffic areas, and preferably, where appropriate with non-porous surfaces.
