(1) Vendor needs to provide youth empowerment activities organize and host services. – Organize and host youth empowerment activities aimed at building protective factors that work against substance use.– Host youth empowerment activities aimed at building protective factors against substance use and related harms. • Planning – Perform start–up activities for the proposed activities, including:– Securing venues, supplies, and materials required for the activities– Obtain any necessary training or certifications– Conduct marketing and recruitment for the activities– Seek to mitigate any barriers to participation (e.g. transportation)– Enact policies and practices to maintain safety of staff and individuals served• Implementation – Within 60 days of the project start, begin facilitating youth empowerment activities, including:– Ensuring participants have the information and materials needed to participate– Helping participants set individualized goals for participation– Providing connections to additional resources and services, as needed– Tracking attendance at activities– Making adaptations and adjustments to the activities, as needed• Evaluation: – Work collaboratively with agency on process and outcome evaluation, including track proposed outputs and outcomes, track any changes made to the activities during implementation and attending project management meetings and any additional evaluation meetings.• Sustainability: Develop a plan to sustain the project’s activities after the conclusion of the project period.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 2, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for one year.
