TRANSLATION-8313 - USA (Arizona) - ASL Interpreting and CART Services - Deadline August 25,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide ASL interpreting and CART services to provide sign language interpreting services and speech to text real time, and speech to Text Typewell, or C–print providers and services for the university’s deaf students.1. CART Services:– Contractors will be expected to fill classroom needs with providers up to the task of the varied course offerings.– Contractors will provide consistent service providers for classroom use to best accommodate and support student learning.– Contractors will stay up to date on various platforms, i.e. Zoom and other software to prevent issues in provision of services.– Contractor services will work with flexibility and availability regarding hours – evenings and weekends in addition to Monday through Friday business hours.2. Sign language interpreting services:– Listen to a person’s words, inflections and intent and simultaneously render them into accurate visual language of signs using the mode of communication preferred by the deaf consumer.– Comprehend the signs, inflections and intent of the deaf consumer and simultaneously articulate them into spoken English. Adapt to a broad range of consumer preferences for interpretation and be able to function in a multicultural environment.– Facilitate communication through the use of sign language and spoken English within academic and social settings including class instruction, lectures, discussions, supervised practicums, direct overheard conversations, study groups and field trips.(2) All question must be submitted no later than August 19, 2026.(3) A contract period will be for one year.
