Vendor needs to provide superintendent search consulting services to the government authority located in Teaneck, NJ. • Search Process Development: Meeting with the Board of Education Superintendent Search Committee to develop a customized search process, with appropriate measurement tools, and based on the particular needs, skills, and attributes as set by the Teaneck Board of Education. • Recruitment Phase ProcessDeveloping and implementing the recruitment phase of the search, which would include:O Preparing advertisements for local, state, and national publications;O Receiving and processing all applications;O Conducting appropriate background checks;O Identifying all qualified candidates;O Conducting preliminary interviews of said qualified candidates; and O Providing the Board Search Committee with a list of semi–finalists.• Advertisement in Newspapers: All advertisements for the Superintendent position shall be prepared by the Vendor. The Teaneck Board of Education will place the ad in newspapers and other publications and bear such costs.• Interviewing and Selection of Candidates—Semi–Finalists/Finalists: The consultant will work closely with the Board Search Committee to select and interview candidates from a list of semifinalists. This part would also include working with the entire Board of Education to interview and select a candidate from the finalist list.• Appointment and Transition Process: As part of the superintendent search process, the consultant will guide the Board in the appointment process, which would include all transitional support to the Board with such activities.
