Legal Advisor for DVRPC's Office of Sustainable Energy

The Delaware Valley Regional Planning Commission (DVRPC) is seeking proposals from qualified law Firms to advise on legal matters related to the development and administration of current and future regional clean energy programs in the DVRPC Office of Sustainable Energy. DVRPC’s Office of Sustainable Energy works to support Greater Philadelphia as a leader in the clean energy transition. Its current suite of programs include broad clean energy transition planning efforts for the nine-county region, as well as implementation-focused programs in southeast PA collar counties to support local governments, residents, and businesses with decarbonization in local government operations, building, and electric grid sectors. Legal support may include 1) Legal opinion(s) on questions related to the growth of clean energy program development, administration, and implementation; 2) review and vet program documents in accordance with applicable laws and statutes, such as model ordinance templates, memorandums of understanding and related documents, program contracts, and procurement documents; and 3) ongoing support to project team and/or municipal program participants on legal matters related to programs. The DVRPC invites all qualified firms with experience in this area to submit proposals.
