(1) Vendor needs to provide legal assistance services to the government authority located in Hilo, HI.– Provide legal assistance on issues such as income security, health care, long–term care, nutrition, housing, utilities, protective services, defense of guardianship, abuse, neglect, and age discrimination.– Provide representation and advocacy for frail and vulnerable older individuals who are victims of abuse, neglect, and financial exploitation.– Assist older individuals in limited estate planning, will preparation, and drafting of other legal documents.– Provide advice, representation and appropriate referrals for older individuals with legal issues, including, the areas of Social Security, Medicare, food stamps, consumer, housing, and landlord and tenant problems, guardianship, simple wills, medical treatment, and long term care issues.– Provide advice, representation, and advocacy for older individuals who are incapacitated and require legal assistance in obtaining access to appropriate medical care or health care facilities.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than August 13, 2026. (3) The contract period will be for one year.
