(1) Vendor needs to provide billing and collection services.– Billing the transported individual, Medicare, Medicaid, insurance companies or other appropriate third–party payors for services provided.– Billing the non–transported patient, when appropriate.– An electronic file of treatment and billing information from the current software vendor. – Provide required paperwork to Medicare, Medicaid, insurance companies or third party payers. {adhere to all HIPPA regulations)– Record customer payments from various sources (mail, credit card, etc).– Mail an invoice to transported individual at the current prevailing rate for transportation services.– Medical services transports individuals from varied locations to health care facilities in emergency medical transport vehicles.– Transported individuals are charged a transport fee of county and non–county resident fee.– The selected proposer shall prepare and submit insurance claims for all patients usinginformation obtained at the time of service, provided by the patient at a later date, orobtained through research and verification with healthcare facilities.– Re–file Medicare, Medicaid or insurance claims, as required by the payer to obtain payment.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than November 5, 2026.
