Lead Based Paint Inspection Services for Lee County Community Development Block Grant - Neighborhood Revitalization

Description
Lee County is administering a Community Development Block Grant – Neighborhood Revitalization (CDBG-NR) program funded by the NC Department of Commerce, Rural Economic Development Division. As part of this program, the County may require the services of a certified firm to perform lead-based paint inspections and risk assessments prior to the rehabilitation of each unit; perform a clearance inspection following rehabilitation; and provide other lead sampling/testing (if any) requested by the Construction Inspector during construction. These services will support the rehabilitation of up to three (3) residential structures located within Lee County. The County anticipates issuing a Notice to Proceed within approximately 30 days of award and contract execution. Sealed bids will be accepted by the Lee County Finance Office until July 7, 2026, at 5:00 PM. Please note that two complete bid packages must be submitted. If only one bid package is submitted, the bid will be rejected. Both bid packages may be submitted in one envelope. Digital submissions are not allowed.
