Description
Pursuant to Chapter 2269 Subchapter D of the Texas Government Code, Williamson County (County) is seeking written proposals from qualified contractors to provide Competitive Sealed Proposals for Inner Loop Annex (ILA) Dehumidification Project. County intends to utilize the one-step selection process for this solicitation and award.This project shall consist of upgrades to the HVAC system at Williamson County’s Inner Loop Annex (ILA). The project includes the replacement of five (5) existing packaged rooftop units and one (1) 100% outside air unit with similar equipment having DX cooling, natural gas heating, and hot gas reheat for dehumidification. Replacement equipment shall be tied into the existing building automation system by Automated Logic. Minor ductwork modifications shall be made to account for the increased minimum outside air requirements presented in today’s codes. Both power and natural gas shall be disconnected from the existing-to-be-demolished equipment and reconnected to the replacement equipment. Structural work will include modification of existing roof openings to suit the replacement RTU sizes and ducts as needed. New structural steel framing shall be added to support the new mechanical equipment as needed.
