Fire Department HQ Roof Replacement: Filed Sub-Bidders

This Associated Project is for sub-bidders who want to respond to either of the two (2) Sub-Bidder categories - Painting or Metal Fabrication, for the Fire Department HQ Roof Replacement Project (See "Fire Department Roof Replacement IFB" Project ID 2024-IFB-028). The OpenGov system does not support two different bid due dates, and Sub-Bids need to be submitted and due before the General Bid deadline in order for General Bidders to choose and incorporate the Sub-Bidders to make their bid complete. Sub-Bidders will submit their bids and all other required paperwork through this posting in the Vendor Submissions section . Sub-Bidders will find the Project Manual attached here, as well as prevailing wage rates and all other applicable attachments posted to the General Bidder IFB. Follow all instructions in order to upload filed sub-bids. General Bid Scope: The Town of Hingham (the Owner and Awarding Authority) seeks to solicit bids for all work for the re-roofing of the existing Fire Station Headquarters, 339 Main St., Hingham, MA 02043, other miscellaneous exterior carpentry and painting work, asbestos abatement, lead safe practices and other exterior related Work as indicated in the Solicitation Documents. Bids for the Work are subject to the provisions of General Laws Chapter 149, Sections 44A- 44J inclusive, as amended and Section 39M through 39R of Chapter 30 as amended. Regulations governing bidding procedure as set forth in above mentioned General Laws must be followed. In the event of any inconsistencies between any of the provisions of these Bidding Documents and of the cited statute, anything herein to the contrary notwithstanding, the provisions of the said statute shall control.
