GIS-2052 - USA (Detroit, Michigan) - GIS Professional Support Services - Deadline October 29,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide GIS professional support services to the government authority located in Detroit, MI.– Task 1: As–builts from CIP projects update in GIS:– Updating and quality assurance of field staff entered data and shapefiles that are contractor provided.– Updating spatial location to various water feature classes.– Updating or correcting attributes to various water feature classes.– Adhering to line split rules.– Correcting asset active or abandoned status.– Updating connectivity or topology.– Task 2: Scanning drawings and data extraction:– Conversion of an estimated 1,000 paper as–build drawings and permit cards to digital format will be performed by a consultant.– Consultant will deliver individual images for each water or sewer drawing in PDF and TIFF format, of sufficient resolution for the image extraction.– Consultant GIS Engineer will provide QA/QC on the scanned drawings to confirm the quality of the scans and completeness of the scanned documents.– GIS architect support for utility network migration:– Utility Network migration that will involve strategic planning, data assessment, target system design, and migration execution, ensuring a smooth transition to the new network model.– Define the overall approach, including timelines, tools (like the utility network migration toolset), and methods for migrating existing GIS data into the utility network.– Evaluate the quality and completeness of existing data to identify any issues that need to be resolved before migration.– Work with data owners to correct errors, inconsistencies, and missing information in the source data.– Based on the assessment, design the new Utility Network architecture, considering factors like domain changes, authentication, security rules, and system performance.– Determine the structure and organization of the new Utility Network, including feature classes, attributes, domains, and relationships.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 28, 2026.(3) Pre–bid meeting will be held on September 21, 2026.
