(1) Vendor needs to provide fisheries studies and strategy planning support service.• Provide overall strategy and planning support for local fisheries restoration efforts including implementing fisheries and related channel studies, reviewing data or reports, and related work. • Review local fisheries plans, permits, and regulations. • Agency interests in the Fisheries Restoration Workgroup and related efforts. • Ensure consistency in fisheries approach across the agency’s projects; prepare or review/advise on fisheries components for agency documents and permitting efforts. • Advise on or provide qualified biological staff for specialized monitoring efforts. • Larger or more complex restoration and planning efforts may require a comprehensive team comprised of fisheries biologists, ecologists, geomorphologists, hydraulic modelers, and others with expertise in assessing or planning for fish passage, habitat improvements, water watershed conditions, more. • Develop training and/or outreach materials focused on key species, new regulations, and similar. (2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 7, 2026.
