Ice and Water Vending Machine

The City of Newport News (the “City”) is seeking bids from qualified firms (the “Bidder” or “Contractor”) to furnish the goods and/or services described herein and bids will be received via the City’s e-Procurement Portal, OpenGov Procurement ( https://secure.procurenow.com/portal/nnva ), to be received no later than 'Proposal Submission Date at 'Proposal Submission Time (local prevailing time). The purpose of this Invitation for Bid (IFB) is to solicit bids to furnish/provide a self-service, food-quality ice and filtered/purified water vending machine, delivered and set-up at Menchville Marina, located 524 Menchville Road South, in the City of Newport News, Virginia. The City of Newport News desires to make on-site, food-quality ice available in support of this important seafood industry, and offer the surrounding public ice/water vending options. The machine will be equipped with a generator interface that can provide ice and water during natural disasters.
