GIS-1938 - USA (Washington) - Flood Hazard Mapping Services - Deadline July 16,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide flood hazard mapping services to the government authority located in Washington. – provide flood hazard mapping and related services to develop updated floodplain analyses for the Upper Snoqualmie basin.– Manage the flood study project scope, schedule, and budget.– Conduct detailed field reconnaissance of the study area.– The agency is acquiring aerial imagery and top bathymetric LiDAR to inform this study. The Consultant shall assess the need for additional data collection in the study area.– Review Existing Mapping: Obtain existing LiDAR data and aerial imagery of the study area from the County and review.– Aerial Control Points: Identify 8 to 10 photo–ID survey control points in existing imagery. Survey and provide horizontal and vertical coordinates for the locations identified.– Check existing LiDAR against new photo–ID survey control; adjust as needed.– Colorize LiDAR if needed.– Digital Modeling and Mapping: Generate digital elevation models and topographic mapping for the study area using appropriate methods merging data from Ground and Bathymetric Survey task.– Develop Digital Base Maps: Use the aerial imagery, LiDAR and survey to create base maps showing topography, planimetric features such as structures and roadways, illustrate the boundaries of incorporated areas and label highways and major arterials for the study area. Prepare planimetric data sets, feature data and breaklines.– Perform ground and bathymetric surveys using information gathered under the Field Reconnaissance task.– Perform hydrologic analyses for the drainage basins of the study area.– Perform hydraulic analyses for the study areas.– Delineate floodplain and FEMA floodway boundaries for the study area.(2) Pre–bid meeting will be held on July 1, 2026.
