Vendor needs to provide owner’s project manager historic fire station window, door and access control improvements services to the government authority located in Braintree, MA. – The project is anticipated to include the removal and replacement of existing windows and exterior doors, installation of electric door hardware and associated access–control components, and related architectural, electrical, accessibility, structural, and building–envelope work.– Due to the historic nature of the facility and its continued use as an active fire station, the project will require careful coordination of historic–preservation requirements, construction phasing, fire department operations, accessibility, building security, and fire/life–safety requirements.• Project Development– Review existing project information and assist the Town in defining the final project scope. – Assist with existing–condition investigations and identification of project risks. – Assist with establishing the project budget and schedule.• Design – Manage and coordinate the design process. – Review design documents for completeness, constructability, cost, accessibility, code compliance, historic compatibility, and coordination with existing building systems.• Procurement – Preparation and review of bidding and procurement documents. – Assist with contractor procurement in accordance with applicable Massachusetts public procurement and construction requirements.• Construction – Represent the Town during construction. – Monitor contractor progress, schedule, budget, and compliance with the contract documents.• Closeout• Historic Preservation• Fire Station Operations
