HEAVY TRUCK MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR SERVICES

Department of Administrative Services, Fleet Management, seeks to establish a contract for full range of preventive maintenance and corrective repair services on County heavy trucks in Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) classifications 6 through 8 which encompass trucks from 19,501 to over 33,000-pound Gross Vehicle Weight Rating (GVWR). The service provider shall possess facilities, equipment, software, personnel, and finances to perform and document preventive maintenance and repair services on class 6 through 8 trucks, including brakes, tires, suspension, HVAC systems, fuel systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, and engines. The provider shall either have full-service capability within Pinellas County or means to transport outside the County and back. This contract will cover work on any vehicles currently under manufacturer or extended warranties, overflow work, and work on proprietary software, to ensure safe, efficient and reliable service.
