Lakeland Electric McIntosh, Unit 5 Isolated Phase Bus Testing, Evaluation and Repair

Lakeland Electric (LE, or OWNER) seeks the services of a well-qualified and experienced Industrial Electrical Services contractor to inspect, test and correct deficiencies in LE’s two independent Isolated Phase Bus (IPB) Systems located at the McIntosh Power Plant Unit 5 Combustion Turbine (CT) and U5 Steam Turbine (ST) Facilities. The selected contractor will demonstrate a thorough familiarity with utility Isolated Phase Bus Systems by submitting references of recent and several projects of similar scope and size. This specification covers all power conductor components between the generator stator terminals, GSU, PPT (excitation), and instrument transformers attached directly to the IPB connections. A single contract will be issued to one qualified contractor for both the CT and ST IPB systems.
