(1) Vendor needs to provide air–fed vertical collating system to the government authority located in Phoenix, AZ.• Provide, deliver, install, and support one Air–Fed Vertical Collating/Booklet making System• Towers with 10 bins each (30 total bins) all in line to include: accessories, training, and maintenance required for full operation.• The Vertical Collating System is essential for the timely and accurate production and distribution of a wide range of City publications, including but not limited to employee benefits handbooks, memorandums of understanding, payday and shift calendars, safety materials, fire and police resources, and election–related materials.• Collator System Requirements– System shall perform agency collating/stacking, stitching, folding, and trimming.• System shall include feed–height sensors and air blowers for consistent sheet separation.• Double–feed detection using infrared or equivalent high–intensity sensing technology.• Sheet feeding must be mark–free and use materials engineered for non–marring transport.• Collating Technology1. Suction–rotor feeding system capable of coated, uncoated, art paper, and signatures.2. High–intensity infrared LED sensors for double–feed detection.3. Individually adjustable feeding–air levels by bin.• Capacity and Performance1. Minimum production speed: 9,000 sets/hour or 4,000 books/hour (depending on paper weight and thickness).2. Must support a three–tower configuration with a total of thirty (30) bins; expandable systems acceptable if minimum capacity is met.3. Maximum sheet size required: 350 × 500 mm; preferred: 350 × 610 mm (landscape).4. Minimum sheet size: 120 × 148 mm with optional guides.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 4, 2026.(4) Non–Mandatory Pre–bid meeting will be held on September 1, 2026.
