(1) Vendor needs to provide superintendent search consulting services to the government authority located in Glendale, AZ. • Perform a search for qualified candidates for the position of superintendent of the school district.• Recommend a search process which includes input from all stakeholder groups, to the governing board, administrators, staff, parents, students, community members, and leaders.• In cooperation with the governing board and district, develop a candidate profile and criteria evaluation/selection of the successful candidate for superintendent.• Provide direction and training to district staff on the search process including steps and protocols• Pre–screen candidates for qualifications and background information.• Recruit qualified candidates locally and nationally.• Prepare background and reference checks and provide the report to the governing board.• As needed, develop, and implement public information and participation opportunities to ensure interested citizens and district employees are involved to provide constructive input to the governing board in defining criteria and qualifications, skills, and competencies to be sought by the governing board, and providing constructive input during the interview and final selection phases.
