(1) Vendor needs to provide helicopter transport services to the government authority located in Eureka, CA.– Contractor is responsible for providing a helicopter and equipment capable for lifting, transporting, and placing up to 500 whole trees and logs into various creeks in steep terrain.– Provide spill kits, two–way radios, fire prevention and suppression equipment (e.g., fire extinguishers), and conduct daily coordination and safety meeting.– Emergency landing locations will be provided with other pertinent GIS data.– Access roads to staging and service landing areas are paved, graveled, or compacted native dirt and accessible by truck.– Georeferenced maps with helicopter staging area, large wood source areas, loading site locations, and emergency landing locations.
