ITB Title: Purchase of (1) Pegasus S5 610 Galvenized Rotary Roller Mowers with Accessories/Options, Setup, and Training Important Procurement Information All questions must be submitted through the public purchase portal, and the deadline for questions is November 3, 2026 at 12:00 PM EDT . After this date and time, no questions will be answered. Upon awarding of this bid, the purchase order will serve as the contract for services rendered. Columbus City Schools has established an Outreach Program to increase participation of businesses designated as Local Economically Disadvantaged Enterprises (LEDE). The Board of Education (BOE) has established an aspirational goal of 20% participation by businesses designated as LEDE. Vendors are strongly encouraged to use a good faith effort to support the BOE in achieving the District’s LEDE participation goals. Invitation to Bid (ITB) Trimax Pegasus S5 610 Galvenized Rotary Roller Mower Purpose Columbus City Schools is soliciting bids for the purchase, delivery, setup, and operator training of one (1) new Trimax Pegasus S5 610 Galvenized Rotary Roller Mower and associated accessories and options as specified herein. No alternate manufacturers, models, substitutions, or equivalent products will be considered. Bidders shall provide pricing only for the equipment specified in this solicitation. Equipment Requirements Provide pricing for the following required line items: Pegasus S5 610 Galvenized Electric Unlock System (Remote Deck Release) Anti-Bounce Skids Series 5 Road Kit Trimax A5 Softcover Video Brochure + Cover + Desiccant + USB Cable Pegasus S5 Operator Manual – English All equipment, components, documentation, and accessories listed above shall be included in the bid and delivered as specified. Bids that do not include all required line items may be deemed non-responsive and rejected. Equipment Condition All equipment shall be new, unused, and current production. Used, refurbished, demonstration, leased, remanufactured, or previously owned equipment will not be accepted. Dealer Requirements Bidder must be an authorized Trimax dealer, distributor, or manufacturer-authorized representative capable of providing sales, service, parts, and warranty support for the specified equipment. Bidder shall: Provide documentation demonstrating authorization to sell and service Trimax equipment. Maintain access to OEM replacement parts. Provide warranty support and service for the equipment. Acknowledge service requests within forty-eight (48) hours. Identify the service location(s) that will support the equipment. Delivery, Setup, and Installation The successful bidder shall: Deliver the equipment to: Columbus City Schools 889 E. 17th Avenue Columbus, OH 43211 Unload, assemble, and prepare the equipment for operation. Verify proper operation of all mower functions and included components. Complete delivery within sixty (120) calendar days of receipt of purchase order unless otherwise stated in the bid response. Training Requirements The successful bidder shall provide onsite operator training for Columbus City Schools personnel. Training shall include: Safe operation of the mower Daily inspection procedures Routine maintenance requirements Troubleshooting procedures Warranty reporting procedures Training shall be conducted at the time of delivery unless otherwise approved by Columbus City Schools. Warranty Requirements Bidder shall provide manufacturer warranty information, including: Warranty duration Covered components Exclusions or limitations Warranty claim procedures Service support contact information Acceptance Final acceptance shall occur only after: Delivery of all required equipment and documentation Inspection by Columbus City Schools personnel Verification of operational functionality Completion of required operator training Columbus City Schools reserves the right to reject equipment that does not meet the requirements of this solicitation. Submit/upload an itemized pricing document showing: Cost for each required line item Delivery charges Setup and installation charges Training charges Any additional fees or charges Pricing shall remain valid for a minimum of ninety (120) calendar days from the bid due date. Award Award will be based on: Compliance with specifications Total cost Delivery schedule Warranty provisions Demonstrated ability to provide ongoing service and support Columbus City Schools reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to make an award in the best interest of the District.
