STAFF-16455 - USA (Boerne, Texas) - Emergency Medical Director Service - Deadline August 7,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide emergency medical director service to the government authority located in Boerne, TX.• Provide critical medical guidance regarding pre–hospital medical care and transport of the sick and injured• Be responsible for providing medical oversight for all aspects of patient care to ensure EMS consistently provides care that meets or exceeds best practice standards. • This duty includes credentialing of emergency medical technicians, advanced emergency medical technicians, and paramedics• The EMS Medical Director works closely with the EMS Administrator to manage concerns with the performance of EMS staff and will have the responsibility and authority to suspend or de–credential any EMS personnel and/or to report incidents Health Services• Be responsible for the establishment, implementation, and modification of EMS protocols for the field practice of medicine, including but not limited to pre–hospital care, patient triage, transport, transfer, dispatch, extrication, rescue, and radiotelephone/ telemetry communications, as well as any clinical quality improvement initiatives.• Be actively involved in the emergency management of the acutely ill and injured patients.• Inspect, evaluate, and approve all EMS equipment and supplies such as medications, cardiac monitors, extrication equipment, and intravenous solutions• Provide medical oversight and consultation for disaster medical operations including mass casualty incidents, disaster triage protocols, and EMS integration with the agency Emergency Management operations(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than July 31, 2026
