Description
The City is soliciting bids from qualified vendors to provide their Department of Public Works Waste Management and Environmental Storm Water Divisions all labor, materials, services, transportation and equipment for disposal of yard waste in accordance with all federal, state, local laws and regulations and conformity with all terms and conditions of this solicitation. The City currently collects and delivers yard waste debris to Bay Disposal LLC located at 2224 Springfield Ave in Norfolk, VA. The waste is generated from residential curbside collection. During the Fall leaf season, Environmental Storm Water Management will deliver vegetative debris removed from storm water outfalls and from City streets swept by street sweepers.
