Vendor needs to provide general legal counsel services to the government authority located in Passaic, NJ.– Services include, but are not limited to attendance at all regular and special meetings, consultations regarding compliance.– Attendance at all regular and special meetings of the redevelopment agency. generally, the regular meetings are held on the 4th Thursday of every month.– Advice regarding proceedings regarding the open public meetings act, the open public records act, and all administrative functions of a public agency.– Advice regarding compliance with the local redevelopment and housing law.– Project advice and representation on all routine matters related to project implementation.– Litigation as needed.
