Vendor needs to provide moving and storage consultant services to the government authority located in San Francisco, CA.• On site walk through individual jobs to see what needs to move and to properly prepare accurate job quotes.• Provide project and move management leadership in meetings with faculty and staff regarding move planning and coordination.• Participate in meetings with building and grounds, facilities, architects, project managers, vendors, and college purchasing officials.• Develop and implement phased moving schedules, taking into account and not limited to, construction schedules, lead times, prevailing wage requirements, school calendar, and street access.• Coordinate on–site movers, using specifications.• Troubleshoot problems. Provide on–site supervision of crew(s).• Comply with state and local regulations and policies, maintain audit records.• Carry all required insurance as outlined in the insurance requirements,• Complete and sign the non–collusion, disbarment and conflict of interest forms.• Quote per hour charges for drivers, supervisors, project managers, movers, assemblers using prevailing wage for area.• Packing equipment and furniture in college classrooms and offices for relocation to other classrooms or offices either at the same campus or of other campuses location within city.• Deliver packing supplies to campus and pick them up at the end of the move.
