DRA-11285 - USA (Fredericksburg, Virginia) - Drive Connector Study Service - Deadline August 31,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide drive connector study service to the government authority located in Fredericksburg, VA. • Study will involve the assessment, impacts, and development of planning–level concepts and cost estimates for a new multi–modal east–west connection linking drive and learning lane.• Public outreach and stakeholder coordination: public outreach strategy to engage residents, property owners, and other stakeholders.• Background data collection: collect traffic turning movement data, including pedestrian and bicyclist counts, at the intersections identified above.• Collect speed, average daily traffic, and vehicle classification data at mid–block locations along drive, hillcrest drive, and learning lane• Analyze existing pedestrian and bicyclist accommodations and identify key safety and accessibility gaps, especially for routes to the Learning Campus.• Responsible for also providing a cost analysis for the conversion of any associated traffic control devices, to include to: pavement markings, signage, and traffic calming features.• An evaluation of pedestrian safety due to the traffic pattern changes• Street features that prioritize local traffic and pedestrian safety using local road standards.• Minimizing right–of–way impacts on adjacent properties and environmental impacts.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than August 19, 2026.
