(1) Vendor needs to provide contract hearing officer service to the government authority located in Kentucky. • Draft, review, and issue notices, orders, and correspondence and conduct legal research on complex matters and issues.• Writing decisions that include findings of fact, conclusions of law, and recommended and final orders.• Represent the Office on an as needed basis for administrative hearings. Travel may be required.• Pick up from and deliver back to the all case files, audio transcripts, correspondence, and orders, whether by hand–delivery• Maintain a list of cases assigned and delivered to and received from the hearing officer.• Provide support staff to mail all orders and correspondence and facilitate electronic signing of same.• Hearings, conferences, notices, orders, marked exhibits, records, recommended orders, audio transcripts and final orders are to be conducted or issued within appropriate statutory and regulatory timeframes.
