NOTICE OF INTENTThe Department of Energy (DOE) Portsmouth/Paducah Project Office (PPPO) intends to issue a noncompetitive modification to Contract Number DE–EM0004895. This modification will extend the period of performance for up to 27 months from June 20, 2028 through September 30, 2030, with Four Rivers Nuclear Partnership, LLC (FRNP) for the Deactivation and Remediation (D&R) at the Paducah Gaseous Diffusion Plant (PGDP) located in Paducah, Kentucky. These services include continued coordination with applicable regulatory agencies to obtain approval on three primary Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act Records of DecisionIn accordance with Competition in Contracting Act, 41 U.S.C. §3304 (a)(1), as implemented by FAR 6.103–1, other than full and open competition is authorized when there is only one responsible source and no other services will satisfy agency requirements.The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 562910 for Remediation Services.
