(1) Vendor needs to provide incident response and digital forensic services to the government authority located in Iowa.• Provide incident response services for Critical Severity and High Severitycybersecurity incidents.• Provide Incident Response (IR) and Digital Forensic Services (DFS) rapidly in the event of cybersecurity events that may impact University information systems, research environments, healthcare–related systems, cloud services, operational technology (OT), and third–party hosted services.• Support executive leadership through strategic incident management and communications.• Enhance the University's cybersecurity resilience through post–incident recommendations.• Emerging threats, security incidents, ransomware, compromised business email investigations, data breach response, regulatory and notification considerations. • Ransomware Events, Data Breach Investigations, Advanced Threat Activity, Email and IdentityAttacks, Cloud Security Incidents, Critical Infrastructure Incidents.• Initial intake and severity assessment, establishment of incident command structure, evidence preservation guidance, development of response strategy, stakeholder identification of individuals needed to address the incident.• Activities to include to threat containment recommendations, isolation strategy guidance, identification of compromised systems, credential containment support, and adversary activity disruption.• Host forensic acquisition; memory, malware, and log analyses; Cloud forensic review; email investigation; network traffic analysis; threat actor timeline development; persistence mechanism identification; and root cause analysis.• Endpoint Forensics• Cloud Forensics• Email Forensics• Mobile Device Forensics(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 9, 2026.
