Vendor needs to provide substance use prevention program services to the government authority located in Minnesota.• Education – two–way communication that affect critical life, social skills, decision–making, critical analysis, and systematic judgement abilities. • Information dissemination – sharing knowledge of SUD and effects on individuals, families, and communities • Community activities – Sobriety Pow wows, drug free dances, youth leadership activities, etc. • Problem identification and referral – identification of those who have experienced first use of illicit drugs and will assess if behavior can be reversed through education, this is not a strategy to determine if treatment is needed. Examples are employee assistance programs, driving while intoxicated education programs, etc. • Community–based processing – organizing, planning, enhancing efficiency, and effectiveness of service implementation • Environmental – reviewing policies in systems, technical assistance, modifying advertising practices, etc.
