EQU-19600 - USA (Homestead, Florida) - Generator Protective Relay Upgrade Supplies - Deadline September 3,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide generator protective relay upgrade supplies to the government authority located in Homestead, FL. – For the upgrading of the protective relay for Generator 17 from an electromechanical relay to a solid–state digital relay. – The relay is a common modernization project that typically provides improved protection, reliability, and diagnostics.– Remove the existing electromechanical protective relay and associated hardware as required for the installation of the new relay. – Rewire the new relay to the existing current transformer (CT) and potential transformer (PT) circuits, existing lockout relays, generator trip circuits, and other required field circuits.– Perform relay commissioning and acceptance testing, including point–to–point verification, wiring continuity checks, secondary injection testing, functional protection testing, trip circuit verification, alarm verification, and confirmation of proper relay operation. – Provide complete as–built documentation upon completion of the work. (2) A non–mandatory pre–bid meeting will be held on August 31, 2026.(3) All questions must be submitted no later than August 31, 2026.
