MRB-55226 - Belize - Private Sector Engagement Development Strategy and Action Plan Service - Deadline July 10,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide private sector engagement development strategy and action plan service. – Enhanced national capacity to effectively respond to and address the impacts of climate change in a strategic, consultative, participatory, and comprehensive manner, ensuring the meaningful engagement of all national stakeholders and securing both countries buy–in and country ownership of climate action at every level.– Conduct a comprehensive mapping of the private sector landscape to identify and profile key actors, enterprises, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), umbrella organizations, and financing institutions relevant to both climate change adaptation and climate finance mobilization.– Validation of mapping and cost–benefit analysis.– Strategy development for unified private sector engagement strategy and action plan.– Develop one comprehensive and unified private sector engagement strategy and action plan.– Dissolve longstanding barriers to private sector participation in climate action agenda and shall be implemented in a coordinated, gender responsive, and socially inclusive manner, ensuring the active and meaningful engagement of all relevant national stakeholders throughout the process.– Enhancing its national adaptation planning capacity, and accelerating the implementation of its national adaptation plan to build the country's climate resilience and advance its low emission development pathway.– Situational analysis of the private sector's current role and capacity in climate adaptation and climate finance(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than June 26, 2026.
