(1) Vendor needs to provide Visible and NIR Lens Measurement and Optical Metrology System. – Provide one complete visible/near–infrared lens measurement and optical metrology system for the Laser Technology Program.– The system will provide students and faculty with industry–standard optical measurement capabilities supporting curriculum requirements, laboratory instruction, and hands–on workforce training.– The selected supplier shall furnish, deliver, install, configure, calibrate or verify, test, train, and place into operation one complete lens measurement system.– Mandatory Functional Capabilities:• Infinite–conjugate testing of visible/NIR lenses with a clear aperture of at least 50 mm.• On–axis and off–axis modulation transfer function (MTF) measurement.• Effective focal length (EFL) measurement.• Back or flange focal length measurement, as applicable to the proposed configuration.• F–number, distortion, field curvature, and astigmatism measurement.• Chief ray angle and encircled or ensquared energy measurement, or a documented equivalent image–quality metric acceptable to the agency.• Interactive measurement display suitable for alignment, demonstration, and instruction; supplier shall state typical acquisition time for an MTF measurement.• Configurable and repeatable measurement routines, including automated sequences where supported.• Display, save, recall, analyze, and export measurement results in commonly used non–proprietary formats.• Safe operation in a college instructional laboratory by trained faculty and students.– Software and Data Requirements:• Graphical user interface appropriate for laboratory instruction and routine operation.• Configuration, storage, and recall of test routines and measurement settings.• Automated or guided on–axis and off–axis measurement workflows.• Report generation and export to XLSX, CSV, PDF, HTML, or other commonly accessible formats. At least one spreadsheet–compatible format is required.• All software, drivers, and base licenses required for the mandatory capabilities. Perpetual licensing is preferred. Any subscription, renewal, cloud account, internet dependency, or feature expiration must be clearly disclosed and priced.(2) All the questions must be submitted no later than September 16, 2026.
