– Vendor needs to provide professional consulting services to the government authority located in Houston, TX. – Speech Pathologist, Occupational Therapist, and Physical Therapists:• Provide direct speech, occupational or physical therapy services to students ages 3–21 in the school setting at various locations throughout the district.– Professional Bilingual Interpreter:• Professionals needed to act as interpreter during special education assessment or meetings related to educational programming.• Service is on–call and paid on a hourly or daily basis.– Certified Deaf Education Interpreters:• Certified deaf education interpreters needed to act as sign language interpreter for students with hearing impairments when in general education or in deaf education classes. • Provide interpreters services for staff that is deaf and utilizes sign language as their mode of communication.– Transition Specialist:• Work with students, parents and campuses on transition plans for special education students.– In–Home Training Specialist:• Provide consultation and training to campus and district staff in specialized program areas such as autism. • Positive behavior support, special educational practices, etc.– Bilingual Special Education Assessment Professional:• Educational diagnosticians, speech pathologists and school psychologist to perform diagnostic assessment for special education eligibility.– Educational Diagnosticians School Psychologists:• Perform psycho educational and psychological assessment for special education eligibility on an as–needed basis.
