Cortez HS Roof Replacement

Work of this contract includes repair and reroofing of various buildings at Cortez High School (totaling approximately 311,409 square feet) including removal and replacement of modified bituminous membrane roofs, asphalt shingle roof as well as the repair and restoration of existing standing seam metal roof and spray foam roof areas, as well as replacement and / or repair of metal drainage systems, flashing, copings, etc. Work also includes lifting and resetting of rooftop mechanical units, removal and infill of abandoned rooftop mechanical curbs and supports. There are four (4) Alternate Bid items. Asbestos-containing Materials have been identified to be present in some of the existing roofing materials. A contractor licensed and experienced in the remediation and disposal of Asbestos – containing Materials will be required to perform the work to remove and disposed of the identified materials.
