Description
J. Murphy & Sons invites expressions of interest from experienced civil engineering subcontractors for inclusion on a framework of regional lots across England, supporting major infrastructure programmes. The framework will provide call off opportunities aligned to regional delivery teams and project locations. Project Portfolio Includes: Network Rail CP7 TransPennine Route Upgrade (TRU) Peel Ports Other rail and infrastructure projects across England Scope of Services: The framework will cover the provision of drainage and sewer maintenance services, including: Drainage Survey & Inspection CCTV drainage surveys, including condition assessment and defect identification Production of comprehensive survey reports, including video, mapping and recommendations Inspection of foul, surface water and combined drainage systems Drain Cleaning & Maintenance High pressure water jetting of drainage systems Removal of blockages, debris and build up within pipework Preventative and reactive drainage maintenance Drainage Operations Catch pit cleaning and maintenance Operation and maintenance of drainage assets and chambers Routine servicing of network components Over Pumping & Flow Management Provision of over pumping services to maintain flows during works or emergencies Temporary bypass systems and flow control solutions Support for planned works and emergency response situations Reactive & Emergency Services Rapid response to drainage incidents, including blockages, flooding and system failures 24/7 call out capability where required Temporary works to maintain service continuity Data & Reporting Processing of CCTV and survey data Delivery of reports, including defect classification, asset condition and recommendations Provision of outputs in line with industry standards and client requirements How to Apply: Suppliers must express interest through CompeteFor to receive further tender information, including lot structure and next steps. About the buyer's selection process: Regional Approach: The framework will be structured into regional lots across England, allowing suppliers to bid for one or multiple regions based on: Availability of specialist drainage equipment and vehicles Operational capacity and response capability Local presence and mobilisation times Ability to deliver both planned and reactive services Suitable Suppliers This opportunity is aimed at suppliers who demonstrate: Proven experience in drainage maintenance and CCTV survey services Capability to deliver inspection, cleaning and emergency drainage works Access to trained operatives and specialist equipment Strong health, safety, environmental and quality performance Experience working in live, constrained or high-risk environments (e.g. highways, rail, infrastructure) Ability to produce accurate survey reports and data outputs SMEs and regional drainage contractors are encouraged to apply
