FIRE-1884 - USA (Frederick, Maryland) - Fire, Rescue Fleet Repair, Restoration, and Modification Services - Deadline October 22,2026

(1) Vendor needs to provide fire, rescue fleet repair, restoration, and modification services to the government authority located in Frederick, MD.1. Restore the vehicle, ambulance, or apparatus to its original, pre–accident condition or better.2. Perform all repairs in accordance with industry standards, the manufacturer's specifications, and terms and conditions of any existing warranties.3. Use agency replacement parts whenever available. Any deviation requires written approval from the County.4. Adhere to all applicable agency, county, state, and federal requirements.5. Provide all labor, materials, equipment, paint, decals, and testing necessary to complete the work.6. Obtain written approval before performing any additional work not included in any Agreement resulting from this solicitation.7. Provide a warranty for workmanship, parts, and paint, including any additional terms for extended warranty coverage.8. The Contractor will provide drop–off and pick–up services within a reasonable distance and timeframe.9. The Contractor shall refrain from charging any storage fees while the vehicle, ambulance, or apparatus is in their possession.• Structural Repairs1. Repair or replace damaged frame components as required.2. Measure and document chassis and cab alignment before and after repairs.3. Replace any damaged crossmembers, brackets, or mounting hardware.4. Inspect for hidden structural damage• Cab Repairs1. Replace or repair damaged cab panels.2. Restore doors to proper fit and operation.3. Repair or replace damaged glass, mirrors, weather stripping, and trim.4. Repair or replace damaged interior components.(2) The contract period will be for one year.(3) All the questions must be submitted no later than October 1, 2026.(4) Pre–bid meeting will be held on September 24, 2026.
