(1) Vendor needs to provide medical director services to the government authority located in Sarasota, FL.– Medical director services to support the department’s emergency medical services operations.– Available for consultation via county–provided radio or telephone communication 24 hours a day, 7 days per week for online medical control.– Supervise and exercise direct responsibility for the medical performance of all emergency medical responders (EMRs), emergency medical technicians (EMTs), and paramedics operating for agency, including both ground and hazardous materials personnel.– Medical director will staff the emergency operations center during declared emergencies and function as part of the operations team.– Provide clinical oversight and consultation regarding medication formulary management, medication utilization, and medication safety initiatives as requested by the Chief of EMS.(2) All questions must be submitted no later than September 30, 2026.
