Motor Oil, Grease, and Lubricants

The City of Tucson, herein referred to as the "the City," Environmental General Services Department (EGSD) Fleet Services Division, Tucson Fire Fleet Management, Tucson Water, and Sun Tran (herein referred to as Agencies) is soliciting proposals from qualified firms to establish an annual requirements contract for motor oil, grease, and lubricants , as per specifications, to be delivered to various Agency locations throughout the Tucson metropolitan area, as required in the estimated annual amount of $500,000.00. The Agencies maintain diverse fleets of vehicle manufacturers which require manufacturer-approved lubricants. The manufacturers include, but are not limited to, Caterpillar, Cummins, Detroit Diesel, Dodge, Ford, General Motors, John Deere, and Komatsu. Requirements and qualifications are defined in detail in the Scope of Work and Price Page. Offerors may submit a proposal for one or more groups. The following groups are available: Group 1: Motor Oil Group 2: Grease Group 3: Hydraulic Fluid or Oil Group 4: Transmission Fluid or Oil Group 5: Gear Lube Group 6: Miscellaneous Product Categories Multiple Contract Awards: The City intends to make multiple contract awards by Group, as listed on the Price Page. If multiple awards are made, they will be non-positional. Additionally, the City reserves the right to award by the following: Individual Line Item Grand Group Total whichever is deemed to be most advantageous to the City.
